Key Specifications
- Brand: MADE IN INDIA
- RPM: 2880
- Machine Weight: 60 to 85kg
Features & Benefits
- Multi-Stage Hydraulic Design: Uses six sequential impellers stacked inside a single housing to incrementally build water pressure.
- High-Speed 2900 RPM Motor: Powered by a high-efficiency 2-pole induction motor that spins at a rated speed of 2880 to 2900 RPM.
- Three-Phase Power Configuration: Built to operate on a 380V to 415V three-phase electrical supply, providing stable high-torque.
- Water-Cooled Operating System: Uses water-filled internal motor chambers rather than oil, ensuring natural cooling during continuous operational cycles.
- Sand-Guard Protection: Equipped with specialised dynamic sand guards and lip seals to prevent abrasive silt or sand particles.
Description
V6 three-phase 5 HP 6-stage submersible pump set is a heavy-duty, water-filled industrial machine explicitly engineered for high-capacity groundwater extraction from deep borewells with a minimum diameter of 150 millimetres (6 inches). Operating on a standard multi-phase electrical grid of 380V to 440V, this system integrates a robust 5-horsepower induction motor with a sequential stack of six centrifugal impellers, known as stages, which work in tandem to progressively build the hydraulic pressure needed to push large volumes of water over vertical distances ranging from 30 to nearly 90 metres. The pump set is fully submerged at the bottom of the well shaft, allowing the surrounding water to naturally cool the internal copper-wound rotor and eliminating any priming requirements. Constructed primarily from high-grade corrosion-resistant stainless steel or heavy cast iron to withstand harsh underground minerals and sand abrasion, these pumps run at standard high-speed rotations of 2900 RPM and feature water-lubricated thrust bearings to ensure continuous operation.these multi-stage configurations serve as the backbone for expansive agricultural flood irrigation setups, automated sprinkler networks, industrial processing plants, and commercial multi-story water supply distribution systems.
