Driven by a high-torque 3.7 kW water-filled motor requiring a stable 380V to 440V three-phase electrical supply, this unit uses a wet-type design where water lubricates the internal bearings and cools the motor windings. The "10 Stage" designation means the pump housing contains ten individual impellers stacked vertically on a high-tensile stainless steel shaft. As the motor spins at roughly 2,900 RPM, water enters through a protected suction strainer at the center and passes sequentially through each impeller and diffuser stage, with each layer compounding the hydraulic pressure to efficiently push water up to heights ranging from 60 to 148 metres at a discharge rate between 80 and 250 litres per minute.
