The designation "V6" means it is designed for a minimum borewell casing diameter of 6 inches (150 mm). Powered by a high-torque 6 Horsepower (HP) motor running on three-phase electrical power, this pump uses 10 sequential impellers (stages) to push water from deep underground to the surface.The term "10-Stage" refers to the number of impellers stacked on top of each other inside the pump jacket.A single impeller can only push water up to a certain height (head pressure).In a multi-stage pump, water flows sequentially from the 1st stage to the 10th stage.Each stage acts like a booster, adding more pressure to the water.
