Driven by a passion for agro-based technology, Sukhdev Singh and his team designed a mechanical extruder specifically to handle cattle waste. The machine features:

• A 5 HP Electric Motor & Gearbox: Provides the high torque required to compress dense organic material.

• Adjustable Screw Mechanism: A specialized screw feeds, mixes, and forces the dried dung through adjustable molds to form cylindrical logs.

• Hollow Core Design: The machine extrudes logs with a slightly hollow center. This critical design feature allows oxygen to pass through freely, making the logs highly combustible and efficient for burning.

How It Works

The conversion process requires no complex chemical additives and relies entirely on natural drying and mechanical pressure:

1. Sun Drying: Fresh cow dung is spread out and sun-dried for roughly five days until the moisture content drops, making the material loose and soil-like.

2. Extrusion: The dried dung is poured into the machine's inlet hopper, where the internal screw compresses and pushes it through the mold.

3. Final Curing: The freshly extruded cylindrical logs are placed under the sun once more to remove any remaining trace of moisture or odor, leaving behind solid, easy-to-handle fuel bricks.
